4.30 - Iron Man 3

I won tickets to an advance screening of Iron Man 3. It was exciting and funny with nonstop action. I can barely wait to see it again when it opens in three days

4.30 - Iron Man 3

Definitely the best movie to kick off the summer blockbuster season.

I will post my review of it tomorrow..... stayed tuned

4.25 - Peregrine Falcon

This morning I was lucky enough cover a animal segment brought in by Sea World. They brought in an alligator, two chameleons, a lemur, a boa, but my favorite was the Peregrine Falcon.

4.25 - Peregrine Falcon

I am just fascinated with birds especially raptors. They look so regal. I like how their large black eyes will pierce you as they look at you. You wonder it they are thinking about how they could snatch you up and eat you as if they are mini dinosaurs.

The peregrine falcon is know as the fastest animal alive. It can fly up to 200 mph in its dives. It also lives on every continent except Antarctica

4.24 - Times Square

Only one place could rival the neon of Las Vegas, and that place would be Times Square.

4.24 - Times Square

I visited Times Square at both the day and night. The night view is very picturesque. The contrast between the lights and the night sky was great.

4.21 - In Memory...

That was 237 years ago. I found this headstone in a cemetery in Manhattan as we were walking around. I was amazed that it was still in good condition. I also like how numbers were written. I think that we should go back to that way.

NYC Trip to Wrestle Mania 29

I've returned from a wonderful trip to New York City. It was an amazingly fun time. I had a blast walking all over the Big Apple. Hopping on and off the subway. Searching for famous locations referenced in movies and Seinfeld. Here are some highlights I chose to fill the gap.

4.4 - Iron Sheik Roast

The Iron Sheik is a legendary pro wrestler whom has become infamous for his crazy rants. So naturally we had to go to his comedic roast.

The whole reason for the trip was to attend my 4th Wrestle Mania in a row. This event was the biggest and best of all the ones I've been. The set was amazing! Even if my view was obstructed by a pillar.

Taking a wonderful stroll through Central Park on a warm sunny day.

Now, I took over a thousand photographs while I was on my trip, so be prepared to see a lot more photos from NYC. One thing I regretted about the last photo of a day project was I would take some wonderful photographs, but only post one from that day. Well, this time I've decided to use this opportunity to show off more of my photography from this trip. I hope you'll enjoy seeing much more from NYC for the next few weeks

Going on Hiatus

Has everyone been enjoying A Day, A Photo so far this year?

I have been having a lot of fun with taking these photos. I feel that this year is going much more smoothly than 2011. I think that entire experience helped me solve some of the hiccups I had that year.

Yet there still is the one small problem. I sometimes will to take vacations.  While I will still be taking photos, I will not be posting them online until I return from holiday.

I was thinking that maybe I could post using my iPhone, but I don't want to just post anything. Plus I know I will take much better photographs with my other cameras.  So you are going to have to wait.

From April 4 - 10 there will be no postings of the photo of the day. I haven't decided yet if I will post individually for each day or just one large post coving everything. You will have to wait and see.

4.1 - Go Cubs Go

Today was Opening Day for MLB 2013 season, and although I listened to the game (and the Cubs were in Pittsburgh), I wish I could have been at the Cubs game today. Maybe someday I will move to Chicago and own season tickets. But most likely I will work for WGN
